FITZPATRICK DESIGN and CABINETRY

An off-white kitchen designed to showcase homeowner's bakelite dishes and bakelite door hardware. We chose to go with overlay cabinetry with a rounded edge instead of our usual inset and frameless. Highlights are the stunning Big Chill Hood in red, a Wolf 36" range and a built-in bar area. The Sub-Zero fridge was outfitted with custom panels and the back of the island has beadboard. Paint and wallpaper by Farrow and Ball.

This gorgeous Tudor home has beautiful architectural elements and we wanted to open the kitchen up to provide panoramic views. A dividing wall between the dining room and cramped kitchen was removed, providing an open space and lots of light. The stained cabinetry in espresso and white painted cabinetry share the same door style and each is topped with complementing stone countertops. The materials and decorative touches used make it transitional for today's lifestyle.

A dated kitchen with an awkward layout is updated to include a main center island, central range with exterior venting and all new materials.
